Les Hypogées d'Arles-Fontvieille et leur environnement : nouvelles perceptions, nouvelles perspectives

Due to their unique architecture and the exceptional dimensions of the largest monument in the group, the Arles-Fontvieille hypogea are among the most remarkable megalithic monuments in Europe and the western Mediterranean region. A collective research program was launched in 2013 to study these well-known monuments which have, paradoxically, been the subject of relatively few field studies since the 19th century. The research program consisted of an inventory and analysis of the grave goods and associated artefacts, as well as a number of field studies providing an improved archaeological context of a megalithic group too often thought of only in terms of funerary monuments. Roman inscriptions from Paterna, Valencia, and Riba-Roja de Túria (Territorium of Valentia, Hispania Citerior)

Presentamos en estas páginas once nuevas inscripciones romanas sobre diversos soportes, que han aparecido en la última década en diferentes excavaciones en localidades próximas a Valencia y en la propia ciudad, todas ellas dentro del territorium de la antigua Valentia. This article presents eleven new Roman inscriptions on various supports that were found in the last decade in different excavations in locations situated in the vicinity of Valencia and in the city itself, all of them within the territorium of the ancient city of Valentia.

El presente texto confirma que el monumento funerario encargado en 1609 por Juan Alfonso Pimentel, conde-duque de Benavente a los genoveses Giuseppe Carlone y Oberto Casella fue para la sepultura del fraile Domingo Anadón en el convento de Santo Domingo de Valencia. Presentamos en estas páginas ocho testimonios de inscripciones romanas que muestran la repetición de la fórmula D(is) M(anibus) s(acrum) o D(is) M(anibus). Todos los textos pueden ser datados entre los ss. II y III. La distribución geográfica de estos textos demuestra que se trata de testimonios aislados y que no guardan entre ellos ninguna relación. This article presents eight Roman inscriptions found in Hispania with reiteration of epigraphic formula D(is) M(anibus) s(acrum) or D(is) M(anibus).
